As well as regular events, we provide one-off events on specific items, and work with our regulators to ensure members are fully informed on key issues.

AFM IDD Forum 2018

*The Forum scheduled for 18 September has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and rearranged for 3 October 10.30am-12.30pm.

AFM held an IDD Forum on 3rd July at the Manchester offices of The Oddfellows, hosted by Gary Morley. The Forum covered a general round up of the IDD, and specific issues around product complexity, demands and needs statements, and appropriateness tests. 

AFM Claims Forum, 12 April 2018

NEW AFM Accelerate Programme for emerging leaders goes live in 2017

Our new programme of four events, for emerging leaders in AFM members, has now been fully subscribed.  The programme will consistent of a number of events through the year, designed to equip leaders of the future with a wider range of skills and experience.

Managing risk well has always been key to the insurance industry's success.  With the introduction of Solvency II, an insurer's approach to risk management will become central to their strategy and their culture.

The AFM Risk Network met for the first time in December 2011, at the offices of AFM Associate member Towers Watson.
