Managing Director (Partner) at consultancy firm, Alvarez and Marsal  Over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services of which the majority has been at the UK regulators’ – Bank of England, Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).  An independent thinker, who is comfortable to challenge, in an appropriate manner. Proven track record of leadership/ management, business performance, strategy development and implementation underpinned by conduct risk management/ corporate governance expertise gained within the regulator and regulatory practice including working across Europe.

Dick Jenkins

An accomplished practitioner in Financial Services now looking to establish, at age 60, a portfolio career. PRA/FCA approved (SMF1, 3, 16 ) status with an excellent working relationship with all regulators. Background as a leading player in Building Society sector successfully navigating the Bath through the financial crisis to become Britain’s most profitable Society. Particular interest and experience in developing strategy and organisational culture, both at the frontline and in the Boardroom. Experience in being able to create the links between governance, regulation, risk and strategy. Keith Meeres

An experienced director who has operated successfully in the financial services sector (mainly mutuals) for over 40 years, helping businesses through significant periods of strategic growth and regulatory change.

Board level experience includes circa 20 years in an executive capacity and several years in a non-executive role. Key responsibilities have included: governance, compliance / regulatory, risk, audit, secretariat and major support services (Controlled Functions CF1, 10, 11, 28 and SIMF4 and 7). Director at BP&E Global, a governance and leadership consultancy firm, Lucy is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience in financial services predominantly within the UK regulators - Bank of England, Financial Services Authority (FSA), and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). She supervised firms from both a conduct and prudential perspective including the smallest 250 insurers. As a qualified coach of the International Coaching Federation she combines her passion for leadership development with a deep insight of regulatory expectations to support Boards to achieve even greater effectiveness. Stephen Moncrief

I am a personable commercially focused actuary with extensive senior management experience within financial services, principally life assurance. I have been actively involved with several friendly societies and I am currently on a with-profits committee.  I believe I have excellent judgement and I am efficient, committed and I can pick up key issues quickly and add value to any organisation. I am looking to secure additional roles on Board committees or as a NED which I hope will complement my own business as an actuarial consultant and contractor.

Gary Morley

Gary holds the role of Compliance & Risk Officer / Company Secretary at the Oddfellows, his career within the financial services sector has spanned over 30 years, were he has held various employed roles, ran his own independent regulatory consultancy and held a Non-Executive Director role. He currently holds a role on Hull University’s Audit Committee and is a member of the AFM Governance & Regulation Committee and GDPR Working Group.

Steven Spilsbury

Andrew Townsley

An experienced Director with a strong commitment to mutual organisations, and a proven track record of growing financial services business. I also have a good understanding of corporate governance, strategy, credit and risk management and following retirement in 2016, want to utilise the skills and knowledge acquired to help other organisations in a Non-Executive Director capacity. In addition to my Kingston Unity main Board role I was a member of the Society’s Risk, Nominations and Investment sub committees and also attended Audit and Remuneration sub committee meetings.
