The Forum will look at topical issues affecting managers of Child Trust Funds.

This will include the report from the National Audit Office recently on the number of CTF maturities that have lain dormant, and the action being taken by providers to find gone aways, as well as to use maturity mailings to encourage action. With many AFM members seeing an increase in the number of maturities in 2023/24, we’ll explore what action members are taking.

We will also consider the conclusions from the Ministry of Justice to not pursue a small payments scheme, and how providers can continue to best support children with learning difficulties.
And we will consider the Consumer Duty implications of managing a book of CTFs.
