20 years INED & Main Board experience encompassing governance, audit, risk, remuneration and compliance, including strategic planning and delivery, M&A and recently ESG across insurance and financial services companies in UK and internationally (e.g., RiverStone (A Fairfax Company), Holiday Property bond, Augura Life (Ireland), and Acapella Agency, to name a few).  Held executive roles for over 30 years at Aviva, Benfield, GE, HBOS, NPG Wealth Management, Prudential, WTW and PE-backed firms.

Known for developing existing and building new FS businesses, and for strategic, commercial and delivery strengths in business turnaround, digital transformation, corporate & cultural change, integration, and IT & operational efficiency leadership. Held CEO, COO and Change Director positions.

Holds a PhD (Artificial Intelligence applied to aircraft design) and MBA from Cranfield University. Completed two Senior Executive Leadership Programmes at Oxford University. Held a Visiting Professorship position in Digital Change Management.  Is a City of London Liverymen. Climbed Kilimanjaro and is highly personable.
