Gordon Wood

Gordon is a highly experienced insurance professional, with significant exposure at Board / Audit Committee / Risk Committee level for over 20 years. He has served as Chief Actuary for various insurers and has undertaken CFO and CRO / Financial Risk Director roles. Latterly, Gordon led the Scottish actuarial and insurance risk practice for EY, where Gordon was ‘Reviewing Actuary’ for many major insurance audit clients. He is also known to regulators due to his Independent Expert appointments.
